Autumn at the Arboretum

September 17th to November 23rd, 2016

Still ongoing for the month of November, Autumn at the Arboretum is one of our favorite fall events. Welcome the change of seasons at the Arboretum's Autumn Festival named one of "America’s Best Pumpkin Festivals" by Fodor’s Travel and "One of the World’s 15 Most Breathtaking Gardens" by Architectural Digest.  This year’s Pumpkin Village will highlight the Art of the Pumpkin, Sept. 17 to Nov. 23, featuring over 90,000 pumpkins, gourds and squash beautifully displayed by the talented horticulture team, supported by Alliance Data and Texas Instruments.

Cinderella’s carriage returns with thousands of pumpkins, hay bales and cornstalks artfully arranged throughout Pecan Grove, creating a popular photo opportunity for visitors. The gardens are bursting with over 150,000 fall blooming flowers like zinnias, impatiens, salvia and coleus which respond to cooler nights with blazing bursts of color. A myriad of activities take place throughout the garden on weekdays and weekends during the festival. This wonderful festival is a real example of how fantastic Texas is in the fall!

Adele Concert

November 1st to November 2nd, 2016

By selling out two nights in Dallas a year in advance, the other queen of England has already proven she rules the world. To say Adele’s pop ballads are catchy is an understatement; the diva with a phenomenal voice has sold enough albums in eight years to go double platinum multiple times. Her long-awaited tour arrives in support of her newest knockout record, 25. The track listing reveals a more cheerful side for the usually-gloomy singer, with tracks such as “Send My Love (To Your New Lover)” and “Water Under The Bridge.” Grab your squad for a night (or two) that’ll likely find you smiling through tears.

Texas Chili Fest

November 6th, 2016

Get together with your friends and join in a celebration of autumn combining music, chili and good times. Enjoy a unique lineup of chili featuring distinct tastes from Graham Dodds (Wayward Sons), Oliver Sitrin (Blind Butcher), Jason West (Sundown), Troy Gardner (V Eats, Samson's Hot Dogs) and Patton Robertson (Cafe Momentum). Two outside stages will showcase Americana & Texas Country acts, including Charlie Robison, Slobberbone, Mike McClure Band, Phil Pritchett, Vandoliers and The Roomsounds. Enjoy all different flavors and spices of chili in all varieties as local chefs compete in a chili cook-off in the Granada Theater’s back parking lot!

North Texas Beer Week: Brewer’s Ball

November 18th, 2016

The 3rd annual Brewer’s Ball is a signature event of North Texas Beer Week. Rub elbows with some of craft beer’s elite while enjoying beer tastings and bites from some of the best beer-centric restaurants in DFW. This intimate evening of food and frivolity with craft beer’s most distinguished brewers is sure to be one you don’t forget! The pricing is $125 per ticket and the event will be held at the Omni Dallas Hotel from 7pm-10pm. This will be the final event and the culmination of a week of celebrating local breweries and their accomplishments.
