Autumn at the Arboretum
September 17th to November 23rd, 2016
Still ongoing for the month of October, Autumn at the Arboretum is one of our favorite fall events. Welcome the change of seasons at the Arboretum's Autumn Festival named one of "America’s Best Pumpkin Festivals" by Fodor’s Travel and "One of the World’s 15 Most Breathtaking Gardens" by Architectural Digest. This year’s Pumpkin Village will highlight the Art of the Pumpkin, Sept. 17 to Nov. 23, featuring over 90,000 pumpkins, gourds and squash beautifully displayed by the talented horticulture team, supported by Alliance Data and Texas Instruments.
Cinderella’s carriage returns with thousands of pumpkins, hay bales and cornstalks artfully arranged throughout Pecan Grove, creating a popular photo opportunity for visitors. The gardens are bursting with over 150,000 fall blooming flowers like zinnias, impatiens, salvia and coleus which respond to cooler nights with blazing bursts of color. A myriad of activities take place throughout the garden on weekdays and weekends during the festival. This wonderful festival is a real example of how fantastic Texas is in the fall!
